Since returning from Grenoble, I’ve been constantly on the move. I had to head back to Angers to take part in the selection process for the photographer who will succeed me in the residency program supported by the Fondation Mécène & Loire and the Museums of Angers. I sat on the jury and reviewed the portfolios of the six finalists. Being on the other side of a selection panel was a truly enriching experience ; it allowed me to see firsthand the criteria that are carefully considered when choosing a candidate.
At the same time, I led several workshops for people wishing to develop their photographic practice. And of course, November is the Month of Photography. As every year, I tried to make the most of it. I visited around a dozen exhibitions, including two full days at Paris Photo. It’s always a visual marathon, but also a major source of inspiration and a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues I sometimes only see once a year.

As part of the Month of Photography, journalism students contacted me to produce a piece on “Paris, the city of photographers.” They followed me for an entire evening in the streets, camera in hand, filming and interviewing me to understand how Paris influences my work, how I move through the city, and how it nourishes my images.
I also organized an open studio sale at my place. Some of you came by, which made me very happy. It’s always a special moment to welcome you into my home and meet in a more intimate setting. I chose to show some unpublished and/or forgotten pieces, and it allowed me to see just how much affection you have for Polaroids ; something that will probably encourage me to get back to them.
And all the while, I’ve been continuing to work on the 2025 edition of the Salon des Beaux-Arts, where I chair the photography section. It’s an important responsibility that is currently taking up a lot of my energy.
So, as you can imagine, with all of this, I’ve had a hard time keeping my blog up to date. The days have flown by, and I haven’t managed to post as much as I would have liked. But I’m taking advantage of a brief pause to write this post and share with you a few photos I’ve taken here and there.
