The Photographic Chronicles – Week 6 – Eiffel Tower and Marne

Writer: Lo KeeLo Kee

Continuing the Photographic Chronicles with a selection of shots from the sixth week.

Playing the Tourist

Noticing that the sky was once again very low this week, I decided to head toward the Eiffel Tower. I thought it would be interesting to capture shots with its top disappearing into the clouds.

Upon arriving, the scene was even more striking than I had imagined. Between the fog and drizzle, visibility was extremely limited.

As if to reward me for crossing half of Paris, upon reaching the Trocadéro, I was welcomed by a flock of birds swirling in the sky. Without hesitation, I pulled out my camera to capture the moment before they scattered.

Continuing the Walk Along the Marne

Later in the week, I felt like returning to the banks of the Marne, which I had explored the previous week. This time, I headed toward Champigny and discovered a section I had never walked before, towards Créteil.

To be honest, this section was less inspiring. While I had noted the worn-out feel of the stretch between Joinville and Le Perreux, this one seemed rather ordinary. Nevertheless, I took a few photos of trees whose shapes reminded me of something.
